Reasons for the suit (Rollins Vs Ulmer, written,Oct-24-2000)

Why would I file a lawsuit, against a ballot measure, of a cause I support?

We are free. We haven't been created as government support system.

No one should be forced to go before any body of people, and be made to plead for their lives. Especially when a trained medical professionals and science says what they are doing is the most sound and compassionate course of action. Parents should not be made to plead for the lives of there children. Children should not be forced to plead for the lives of there parents.

Each person, no matter who they are, has certain rights. These rights that cannot be voted, legislated, or adjudicated away. Even if, the whole world opposes these rights, they cannot be done away with. A few of these rights are mercy, justice and compassion.

Everyone deserves this because, everyone no matter what, is someone's son or daughter and someone really loved them. This is the reason for my suit. If the suit is successful this isn't my victory. If I lose, then I accept full responsibility. If I am handed a defeat maybe I just wasn't good enough. I can only say I tried

Love and compassion are the only things that matter.
