Wevley William Shea

Wev Shea is a lawyer based in Anchorage Alaska was a US Attorney under Bush (1).

Mr Shea has been fighting the liberalization of cannabis laws in the state, he backed the 1990 recrim measure that was an attempt to thwart the Ravin decision. He bemoaned "There's a lot of people that still think smoking dope is just as fine as having a glass of wine or a beer," and . "The general consensus is it really doesn't affect us, and we are free thinkers." (2 ).

Needless to say he opposed the medical use of cannabis and the following are examples of his assertions.
